As global tech firms continue to trim headcount, India’s hiring market is heating up, with companies racing to snap up displaced talent before the window closes.
Neelabh Shukla, Chief Business Officer, Careernet, observed that as large corporates rationalize headcount globally, their GCCs in India are not insulated from these shifts. What is happening at Oracle is a reflection of this broader trend. At the same time, this creates a dual dynamic. While it signals a slowdown for some organizations, it is enabling others to accelerate by tapping into displaced talent.
“We are seeing growing interest from employers in onboarding intact teams – spanning across managers, architects, and core members, allowing them to bring in proven capability and working synergy, and in some cases, fast-track maturity by a few quarters,” he added.
Despite the disruption, the outlook for high-skill talent remains strong, with organizations continuing to value experienced teams that can drive immediate impact.
