Leveraging AI to optimise recruitment processes has emerged as the topmost talent priority for 2025, a Careernet report says. Other primary talent priorities for human resources and talent acquisition professionals in 2025 are strengthening employer branding to attract top talent and driving impactful diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, according to the ‘Talent Priorities Outlook 2025’ report by talent solutions provider Careernet.
The report is based on insights from 827 HR and talent acquisition leaders across industries, and highlights trends such as AI-driven recruitment, employer branding, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and the need for reskilling in a rapidly changing job market.
The report reveals that 42% of organisations prioritise leveraging AI to optimise recruitment processes, 37% prioritise employer branding to attract top talent, and 21% prioritise driving impactful DEI initiatives, among others.
Sectoral trends show consulting leading AI adoption (64%) and employer branding efforts (52%) and BFSI focusing on DEI (35%). The IT sector shows steady attention to DEI (29%) and employer branding (21%). Other industries are gradually adopting AI (6%) and DEI initiatives (6%).
