India Inc’s efforts to foster diversity and inclusion in the workplace seem to be bearing fruit – slowly but surely.
Even as Pride Month gets over, a Careernet Prism study on LGBTQ+ hiring in India covering employees from the community as well as D&I leaders reveals that 58% consider their organisations LGBTQ+ friendly and have allies at the workplace.
Half the candidates have been out at work and feel that the organisation is openly supportive, reveals the ‘State of LGBTQ+ hiring in India’ survey, shared exclusively with ET.
