Job Descripition : Key skills: • Ensure the installation, configuration and maintenance and troubleshoot issues related to IT hardware, software, network and AV equipment • Make repairs and respond to support calls (in person or over the phone) and prioritize requests for IT support o Supports remote users in a timely and efficient manner to minimize down time o Provide technical advice and explanation as required • Assist in training related to technical issues • Supports/facilitate moves to ensure continuity of availability for the company's IT systems (software and hardware) • Assists in projects and Operational tasks with other IT teams or external vendors • Inventory keeping and report damaged/ broken equipment so that replacements can be ordered o Liaise with managers to ascertain user requirements and budgetary constraints • Monitor use of company IT systems and ensures compliance with company's IT security policies and standards Quick facts Working as a systems technician allows you to utilize your knowledge of computer systems and keep up to date with related technology trends and advancements.
